About Mayweather vs Pacquiao

This blog is dedicated to the rumored upcoming fight of Floyd Mayweather vs Manny Pacquiao and it is said to be done on May 5, 2012 next year. The pride of Philippines Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao who is currently number 1 ring magazine pound for pound boxer of the world goes head to head with claimed pound for pound king Floyd Mayweather Jr. who is currently rank number 2. Personally, I’m skeptical as to whether or not we’ll ever get a chance to see the real “Dream Match” to determine the true “Number One/Numero Uno”. However, the hype has already begun and the heat is on to make this Mayweather vs Pacquiao fight a reality. Mayweather may not need Pacquiao and Pacquiao may not need Mayweather, but boxing, as a sport, needs this Mayweather vs Pacquiao fight to take place! I am hoping to see this progress, and look forward to both fighters sitting down at the table to come to an agreement. Bob Arum needs to overcome his self-godliness, and stop being a roadblock to boxing history.
